"We visited 1 of the 2 stores in Hana and they both did not disappoint. The Hasegawa store is incredible with a wide range of products ranging from pipe repairs, tire repairs, screws, smal tools and repair kits, motor oil, first aid kits, t-shirts, hats, souvenirs, and much more. This store is stacked with as much products as a small town may need to keep everyone in this town going. Prices were well and average for the area. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Parking isnt too bad as well. Plenty of space to maneuver around when it isnt too busy. Check out the the front board to see whats happening in Hana."

"We traveled from the other side of the Maui Island to visit the famous Hasegawa General Store. The exterior betrays how exceptional the interior shopping experience is. We could have spent hours sorting through its range of goods, including local food, paper supplies, super fresh produce, cleaning items, camping goods, clothing, books & convenience items. We send our condolences to the family of Mr. Hasegawa. He was a most remarkable and highly respected man. We hope the family can continue in his footsteps."

"Hasegawa's is your lifeline to basic necessities, especially if you are visiting beautiful, peaceful, rural Hana. The prices aren't gouged by any means, well maybe for gas, but if you're in a bind, you have to pay up! The original store location burned down. This one is pretty much smack dab in the middle of Hana town. It's within walking distance to Hana Bay, the ballpark and the main hotel. Awesome place to grab snacks for the beach or to take back with you to where ever you're staying. They'd do killer business if they had a food takeout counter!!"
